Orville Beck of Grafton passed away peacefully on Monday Feb. 9, 2009, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus at the age of 74.
Orville was born in the town of Grafton on June 23, 1934, to the late Arnold & Louise (nee Kloehn) Beck and married Elaine (nee Diderrich) on September 22, 1996, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton.
Orville currently worked for Liesner Soil Inc. for about the last 18 years. He also was a longtime active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton.
Orville is survived by his wife, Elaine, of Grafton; children Carol (James) Ahlers of West Bend, Debbie (Scott) Larson of West Bend, Sandy (Joe) Held of Jackson and Bob (Cathy) Beck of Fond du Lac; step-children Ann (David) Busack of Mequon and Rich (Sharon) Chmielewski of Germantown; grandchildren Jason, Joseph, Shelby, Jessica, AJ, Kyle and Jillian; step-grandchildren Adam, Kristin, Eric and Kaylin; great grandchild Mason, 1; and sister Doris (Buddy) Schulteis of Jackson. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother-in-law, Esther and Fred Kempfert. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday Feb. 15, at 5 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of the service.
