Louis F. Nass

Louis F. Nass, 66, of Theresa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, after a long hard courageous battle with lung disease while surrounded by family and close friends at his home.

Louis was born on June 29, 1942, in Winchester to Edward and Vivian (nee Cole) Nass. He was raised in Mercer and graduated from Mercer High school, class of 1960. Louis joined the Army National Guard and proposed to Sandra (nee Brunell) on Valentine’s Day 45 years ago, and on Nov. 28, 1964, they were married in Ironwood, Mich. The couple moved to Milwaukee and Louis worked for Continental Can and later Crown Cork and Seal for over 30 years. He loved Northern Wisconsin, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Louis is survived by his wife Sandy of Theresa and daughter Kelly (Jason) Forseth of Wauwatosa. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Alex and Brooke Forseth, brother James (Judy) Sell of Ohio, sisters Kathy Christie of Colorado, Norma (Virgil) Juvette of Milwaukee, sister-in-law Judy (Bob) Bergquist of Michigan, brother-in-law Morris Brunell of Illinois, Donald (Andrea) Story of Pennsylvania, special family friends Ed and Janet Walter and their family, his dog April, special nephew Robert (Nadine) Davis, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son David, sisters Azola, Elizabeth, Nora and Sandy, brother Edward and niece Laura.

A Funeral Service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, Feb. 19 from 5 p.m. until time of service. Memorials are appreciated.
