Kenneth H. Haushalter

Kenneth H. Haushalter, 90, of West Bend, passed away Feb. 4, 2009, at Cedar Lake Health and Rehab.

Kenneth was born Aug. 23, 1918, to Henry and Martha (nee Rave) Haushalter in Milwaukee. He married Marilynn (nee Tucker) on June 22, 1943, in Milwaukee. Ken was a U.S. Air Force instructor and served in the U.S. Army. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1974. After retirement, he worked at Goodwill and the Marine Bank (Bank One). In 1989, Ken and Lynn retired to Cedar Ridge Campus. He was a member of Wellington Park Lutheran Church and the American Postal Workers Union AFL-CIO.

Kenneth will be missed by his wife and best friend Marilynn of West Bend. He is further survived by Gerald Tucker, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Dr. Lester Haushalter.

A memorial service for Kenneth will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at Cedar Ridge Grand Hall, 113 Cedar Ridge Dr., West Bend, on the secon floor, with the Rev. Susan Kolb and Chaplain David Stone officiating. Memorials in Kennth’s name to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. or Cedar Community are appreciated.
