Evelyn H. Schrauth, 93

Evelyn H. Schrauth, nee Schlosser, formerly Dickmann, of Campbellsport, died on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport at the age of 93 years.  She was born on December 25, 1915, in West Bend, to the late John and Helen (nee Goschey) Schlosser.

On Aug. 27, 1938, she married Russell H. Dickmann in West Bend.  She worked at the West Bend Company for a short time, and then took time off to raise their family.  Russell predeceased April 30, 1959.  In 1962, she moved to Campbellsport.

She then married Sylvester J. Schrauth on Oct. 22, 1966, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport.  She continued to work at the West Bend Company until 1972, when they moved to St. Lawrence.  Together they operated the Corner Bar until 1978 when they moved to the Town of Auburn.  In 2001, they settled in West Bend.  Sylvester predeceased Nov. 19, 2007.

Since July 2008, Evelyn has resided at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport.

Throughout the years, she took pleasure in tending to her gardens.  She and Sylvester also enjoyed creating quilts together.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Bev) Dickmann of Campbellsport and Allen (Maureen) Dickmann of Eden; six grandchildren Dennis (Maria) Dickmann, Leslie Dickmann, Jeffrey (Lisa) Dickmann, Jeremy (Theresa) Dickmann, Julie (Bill) Bradley and Eve Marie Dickmann; six great-grandchildren Anna Dickmann, Kjersti and Anthony Dickmann, Drew and Tyler Dickmann and Aidan Bradley; one brother Roland (Paula) Schlosser of Florida; one sister Armella "Mickey" Gubins of Delafield; three sisters-in-law Johanna Schlosser of West Bend, Ruth Schlosser of West Bend and Margaret Manthey of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cecelia (Nick) Jungers and Alice Schlosser, and five brothers, Sylvester, Clarence, John, Elroy and Wilbert Schlosser.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Wendell presiding.  Burial will be at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.  Visititation will be at the church only on Thursday from 3 p.m. until 5:15 p.m.

The family has requested memorials to Heartland Hospice.
