Arbutus Lytle Doolittle
Arbutus Lytle Doolittle passed away on the 21st of January, narrowly missing her goal of living to be 100 on April 23. A memorial service led by Pastor David Blackmer will be held at Community United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. The Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.
Arbutus and Allen Lytle were partners in a Cedarburg business manufacturing food for foxes and mink, before retiring to Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Arbutus was a Cedarburg Girl Scout troop leader, a past president of the Peter Wollner Post 288 American Legion Auxiliary and past president of the Cedarburg Woman’s Club.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Allen Lytle and Wendell Doolittle. Loving survivors include her daughter, Judy Harrison; granddaughter, Kathy Harrison; and son-in-law, Wendell Doolittle. She is further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
