Marian Albinger, 88

Mrs. Marian Albinger, of River Park Road in the town of Saukville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at the Lasata Nursing Home in Cedarburg where she had been a resident for the last five years. She was 88 years old.

Marian was born in the town of Farmington on July 13, 1920, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Fahney) Schwinn.

She was united in marriage with Lawrence "Binger" Albinger at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg on May 13, 1944. The couple farmed in the town of Saukville.

Mrs. Albinger was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she had belonged to the Christian Mothers.

Survivors include her five children, Jo Ann (Dan) Cherney, Menomonee Falls, Kenneth (Sharon) Albinger of Saukville, Richard (Mary) Albinger of Belgium, Thomas (the late Dianne) Albinger, also of Saukville and James (Mary) Albinger of West Bend. She is further survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Doris Thelen of Plymouth; her brother-in-law, Joseph Lochen of Newburg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 521 Congress Drive, Newburg. Father Kevin Kowalske will officiate.

Interment will be at St. Peter Cemetery in the town of Farmington.

The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.

The Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
