Robert H. Coyne of Neenah, formerly of West Bend, Madison and Florida,
died on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Valhaven Care Center in Neehah at
the age of 83 years.
He was born on Nov. 7, 1925 in Bear Creek to the late Herbert and Clara
(nee Bauer) Coyne.
On Sept. 7, 1946, he was united in marriage to Helen R. Main in
Evansville. Helen predeceased March 2, 1992.
He was a member of the West Bend Lions Club and a member and
past-president of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Robert) Grueneberg of West Bend
and Nancy (Robert) Ernst of Neenah; four grandchildren, Mary-Helen
Grueneberg, Charles (Audra) Grueneberg, Timothy Ernst and Steven Ernst;
three great-grandchildren, Emelia, Alaine and Madeline Grueneberg; a
brother, F. Michael Coyne of Marco Island, Fla.; a sister, Alice (Rollie)
Gundlach of Madison; a sister-in-law, Alice Allen of West Bend; other
relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Anthony.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 23 at 11 a.m.
at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. 8th Ave., West Bend, with burial
following in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the
church only on Thursday from 10 until 10:45 a.m.
