Lucille Lillian Rossow, 87, of Cedar Community, passed away Sunday July 19, 2009.
Lucille was born on July 5, 1922, in Okabena, Minn., to Edward and Pansy (nee Leach) Hochstein. On Sept. 16, 1938, she married Emmet Martin Rossow in Fairmont, Minn.
In the 1950s, Lucille and Emmet moved to Wisconsin. Over the years she worked for General Telephone as the chief telephone operator, B.C. Ziegler and the Milwaukee Journal.
Lucille is survived by her three children, Connie (Stanley) Hall, Robert (Susan) Rossow, both of West Bend, and Linda (Joel) Nehrbass of Kewaskum. Also surviving are her 12 grandchildren, Michael (Marj) Hall, Douglas (Lisa) Hall, Scott (Darlene) Hall, Mark (Lisa) Hall, Tracy (Tracy) Weseman, Malissa (Udo) Misch, Daryl (Lara) Kistenmacher, Kristin Rossow, Megan Rossow, Jeffrey (Cindy) Nehrbass, Joelle (Corey) Gerlach; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma of Hutchison, Minn.; sister-in-law, Agnes Radke of Hartford; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Brinda and Todd Kistenmacher; a grandson, Jamie M. Nehrbass; and brothers, Frank and Harold Hochstein.
Funeral Services for Lucille will be on Wednesday July 22, 2009, at 6 p.m. at St. Paulís Lutheran Church, 799 St. Paul Drive, Slinger, with the Rev. James A. Castillo officiating. Visitation will take place at the church on Wednesday, July 22, from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St Paulís Church or Cedar Lake Home are appreciated.
