Charlotte A. Boesch, 79

Charlotte A. Boesch (nee Pischke), 79, of West Bend, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Community Memorial Hospital of Menomonee Falls.

Charlotte was born on July 9, 1929, to Arthur and Melinda (nee Jeklin) Pischke in West Bend. She was baptized at St. Johnís Lutheran Church of West Bend on July 28, 1929, and confirmed in May of 1943. She graduated from West Bend High School on June 10, 1947, and attended Valparaiso University, graduating with a bachelor of arts in history on June 3, 1951.

Charlotte married Elmer Boesch on Dec. 23, 1970, at First Immanuel Church of West Bend. She taught at Barton Elementary School from 1967 to 1991. Charlotte enjoyed playing bridge, her Bible study, talking on the phone and spending time with her grandsons.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Elmer; step children, Kathryn Boesch of Lincoln, Neb., Mary (Rick) Newman of Burnsville, Minn., and Lisa (Michael) Senkbeil of West Bend. She is further survived by her grandsons, Ryan and Joshua Senkbeil; cousins, Deborah (the late Kenneth) Gelder, the Rev. John (Barbara) Horner-Ibler and Robert (Ann) Ibler; brothers-in-law, Franklin (Delores), Clarence (Maxine), Kenneth (Sandy); sister-in- law, Gertrude; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Edward.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend, with visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service with the Rev. John Horner-Ibler officiating. A Christian burial will follow the service at Washington County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Living Word Lutheran High School.
