Robert Lee Ruh
Robert (Bob) Ruh, 65, of Milwaukee died on
Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Froedtert Hospital.
He was born March 2, 1944, in Sheboygan, the 13th son of the late Arthur
and Irene Ruh.
Bob enjoyed life to the fullest and brought his great sense of humor to
every gathering. His interests included sports and Indy car racing,
cooking and history. His final days were spent surrounded by family
and friends.
Bob married Annette Boll of Charlesburg on Jan. 25, 1964.
Bob was a loving father of Tammy (Tom) Ruh-Mertens, Kelly (Dave) Gromacki
and Kristin (Matt) Bowen; and proud grandfather of Lauren, Olivia, Ava and
Sophia.
Bob is further survived by siblings, Eugene (Dorothy) Ruh, Victor
(Jeanette) Ruh, Audrey O'Donnell, James (Dorothy) Ruh, Kenneth (Charlotte)
Ruh, Fayth (Daniel)
Sobecke, LoAnn Ruh, Lloyd Ruh and Ione (Donald) Gregoire; sister-in-law,
Juanita Ruh; and brother-in-law, Ralph Ferrara.
Bob was preceded in death by siblings Elda Ferrara, Elwood Ruh and Arthur
Ruh Jr.; brother-in-law, Lloyd O’Donnell; and sister-in-law, Peggy Ruh.
We extend our gratitude to the staff at Froedtert Hospital who gave us the
precious gift of extra time with our father.
There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, June 20, 2009, from 10
a.m. to noon and a memorial Mass at noon at St. Joseph’s Church, 1619
Washington St., Grafton.
Always remember you are the keeper of his history, the keeper of his
stories and the keeper of moments that only the two of you shared. |
