Carol Y. Corcoran

Carol Y. Corcoran (nee Kegley), 71, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at her home.

She was born on July 1, 1937, in the town of Laona in Forest County, to Dock and Opal (nee Skaggs) Kegley.

Carol was united in marriage to Dean W. Corcoran on March 11, 1954, in Antigo.

Carol enjoyed playing cards and playing the organ, knitting and crocheting. She was a weekly patron of the 1022 Club in Hartford and had many friends there. Carol dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Susan Corcoran (Dennis Fero), Ken Corcoran, all of West Bend, Deanna (Gene) Brehmer of Hartford, and Tammy Corcoran (Fredrick Parker) of Milwaukee; her grandchildren, Misty (Joe), Jessica, Mandy (Julio), Dean (Ashley), Joseph, Corie, Matthew, Tracie, Phillip, Johnny, Cassie, Jacob, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Justin and Jerrid; her great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Michael, Jaddiah, Bethany, Dean, Rosa, Joshua, Allyssa, Jasmine, Daylyn, Kaydance, MiKinzie and Savannah; her brothers and sisters, Marjorie (Chuck) Maggio of Madison, Glen (Rosemary) Kegley of Antigo, Herb Kegley of Janesville, Mary (Sandy) Bradish of Florida, Kaye (Bill) Bickler of White Lake, Sandy Toth of Milwaukee and Roger (Shirley) Kegley of Arizona. Carol is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; two infant sons, Jonathon and William; four brothers, Rudy, Mike, Belverage and Bill; and two sisters, Gloria and Iris.

Funeral Services for Carol will be held, Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 1001 Center Street, Hartford, with the Rev. Jonathan Munson officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will be Monday, June 22, 2009, at 10 a.m. in Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gwen Johnson., Cedar Community Home Health Hospice, R.N. Ellen, C.N.A.s Peg and Carol, and friends at the 1022 Club of Hartford.
