Jerry D. Parker, 67
Mr. Jerry D. Parker, 67 years, of Mequon, passed away in the early
morning hours of Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Columbia St. Mary’s
Hospital, Ozaukee Campus, in Mequon.
Jerry was born in Flint, Mich., on March 19, 1942, the son of Dale
Parker and Eleanor Dean Parker. Jerry owned and operated his own
remodeling company, Parker’s Remodeling, for almost 30 years. Jerry’s
passion was snowmobiling. Even in the summer months, all he could ever
talk about was getting out and riding.
He is survived by his son, Rod (Joelene) Parker of Mequon; two
grandchildren, Johnathon and Shelby Parker; and his brother, Bob
(Barb) Parker of Sun City, Ariz. He is further survived by his niece,
Debbie Parker; nephew, Dale Parker; his beloved cat, Little Bit; other
relatives and many friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Ty Parker, and his
brother, Don Parker.
A time of gathering celebrating Jerry’s life will be held on Wednesday,
July 1, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, 1187 Falls
Road in Grafton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer
Society or the Columbia St. Mary’s Foundation.
