David Edward Woiteshek

David Edward Woiteshek of West Bend, 67 years, passed away in his home on Monday, March 9, 2009, after a heroic battle with cancer.

David was born on July 11, 1941, to Edward and Laverne (nee Mertins) Woiteshek in Racine. He married the love of his life, Janet (nee Erbe) on July 15, 1961, in Racine. He started his career in welding at Nielson Iron Works of Racine and also found time to teach welding at Gateway Technical College in Racine. Since 1983, David worked at KSM Industries in Germantown as a Quality Control Manager. At KSM, David took a personal interest in maintaining high quality welding standards. His colleagues were like family to him.

David will be deeply missed by his wife, Janet; children: Brian (Jackie), Todd (Sally), Cheryl (Corte) Jacquin and Joy (Todd) Buehler. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Brittany, Cody, Cassidy, Dana, Jenna, John and Faith; two great-grandchildren Madalynn and Jazyn; sisters Delores (Ron) Longly of California and Darlene Pope of California; other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, March 13, 2009, at 7 p.m. at Emmaus Bible Church, 220 N. 6th Ave., West Bend, with the Rev. Paul Graves officiating. Visitation will be at the church only on Friday, March 13, from 5 p.m. until the time of service. Private internment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park.
