Norbert E. Klemp

Norbert E. Klemp, 75, of Saukville, formerly of the town of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday March 11, 2009, surrounded by his family.

Norbert was born in Fredonia on Jan. 25, 1934, the son of Leona (nee Bretschneider) and the late Oscar Klemp. Norbert served his country in the United States Army from October 1956 to July 1958. Norbert was united in marriage to Christine (nee Lauterbach) on Sept. 19, 1964, in Fredonia.

Norbert enjoyed working with renewable energies. He wrote articles on solar energy which were published in Popular Science. He enjoyed driving race cars and watching racing on TV. He loved snowmobiling, 4 wheeling and the outdoors.

Norbert is survived by his wife, Christine; son, Patrick; mother, Leona; sister, Evelyn Tetzlaff; and brother, Marvin Klemp. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Norbert was preceded in death by a son, Scott. Memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice for their loving care and support.
