Doris A. Marchetti, 90

Doris A. Marchetti (nee Linzmeyer), 90, died March 23, 2009.
 

Doris was the beloved wife of the late Fred “Nando,” the loving mother of Angela Marchetti and Judy (Marty) Mattias. She was the special grandma of Dan (Mandy), Scott, Jodie, Julie, Jaime (Rod), Joe, Luke, Emily, Josie and Tony. The great-grandma of Brycen, Tyler, Cortlynne, Addisyn and Austin.

Dearest sister of Ethel Menner, Audry (John) Heffner, Gloria Heffner, Lois Lindstrum, Marlene Linzmeyer and the late Jimmy. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
 

Doris is a former member and assistant librarian at St. Veronica Church. During the 1940s, Doris was one of the De Laine Sisters Trio. Her favorite hobby was sewing.
 

Visitation (closed casket) will be held Friday, March 27, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Faith Community, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
