June P. Leipold, 80

June P. Leipold (nee Peterson), 80, of Campbellsport, formerly of Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Ivy Manor, Campbellsport.

June was born March 7, 1929 in Shawano to John and Ella (nee Lund) Peterson. She was united in marriage to Herbert Leipold on Aug. 22, 1953 in Mil-waukee.

June enjoyed gardening and crafting.  She was a member of Divine Savior Lutheran church. June volunteered her time and talents to help tie quilts that were then donated for the homeless.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Marne) of Hart-ford and Gary (Kristi) Leipold of West Bend; six grandchildren, Wade (Val), Rebecca, April, Pete, Sarah and Stacy; three great grandchildren, Emily, Erika and Brooke; her sister and brothers, Arlene Gruenwald of Bonduel, Roland (Gladys) Peterson of Appleton and Eugene (Eleanor) Peterson of Lunds Corner.

She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her husband Herbert and two sisters, Joyce Johnson and Margaret (Leonard) Duncan.

Funeral services for June will be held Tuesday, March 31 at 10 a.m. at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, Hartford, with the Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating.

Family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, March 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, and Tuesday morning, March 31 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at church.

Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
