Madaline N. Mihas

Madaline N. Mihas of Jackson, formerly of Ozaukee County, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa at the age of 21.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1987, in West Allis.

As a child, she lived in Ozaukee County, attending local schools and graduated from Ozaukee High School with the class of 2006. For four years she worked at Culver’s in Port Washington and West Bend as a manager. For the past three years, Madaline has lived in Jackson.

She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Cedar Community in West Bend and also was attending Milwaukee Area Technical College in pursuit of a degree in nursing.

One of Madaline’s favorite places to visit was the lighthouse in Port Washington, where she enjoyed spending time.

She was the beautiful and loving daughter of Judi and Rahn, the loving sister of Matthew, a cherished granddaughter of Robert and Dolores Romans and Marlene and the late Ronald Schmidtke. She is also survived by her dog, Hannah, other relatives and many dear friends.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend, with the Rev. Sean Granger presiding. The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation at the Schmidt Funeral Home, N168-W20135 Main St., Jackson, on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a prayer vigil at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for the benefit of the family are appreciated.
