Michael A. Falk
Michael A. Falk, 62, of Iron Ridge, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009.
He was born March 16, 1947, in Watertown, the son of Armond and Bernice (nee Ruppnow) Falk. Michael married Margaret Wollinger on July 17, 1971. He served our country in the United States Army in the Vietnam war. After returning from Vietnam, he began working at Broan until he retired in 2004. Michael was an avid member of remote control airplane clubs. He was a member of Star Touring and Riding and the Motorcycle Touring Association, "Riding with Friends." Michael enjoyed duck hunting and various other sports, including golfing, trapshooting, bowling and darts. He liked being around people and found it easy to converse with anyone.
Michael is preceded in death by his father, Armond.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and his son, Shad, both of Iron Ridge; his brother, Lon (Karen) Falk; his sister, Doris (Bob) DeCant; and his mother, Bernice, all of Arizona; his granddaughter, Katelyn Mueller and his great-grandson, Tristan. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 30, 2009, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford. Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 4 p.m.
