Donald A. ‘Don’ Rasbornik

Donald A. ‘Don’ Rasbornik, 76, of the town of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.

He was born on October 5, 1933, in Milwaukee, the son of the late John and Mary (nee Andrajnia) Rasbornik, and on Nov. 8, 1951, he was united in marriage to Audrey Heckel in Milwaukee.

Don was a member of the Milwaukee Public School Board, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and served as president of the former Holy Name Society and on the board of the St. Vincent De Paul Society. He was a bus driver for the Campbellsport School District and enjoyed fishing. Don will be deeply missed by his wife, his family and by all who knew him.

Those Don leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Audrey; children Rickey (Lynne) Rasbornik of Menomonee Falls, Gail (Lee) Tillman of Mobile, Ala. and Tracy Trevorrow of Campbellsport; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by a brother, John Frank Rasbornik.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Don will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. The Rev. Edwin Kornath will officiate and burial will follow in St. Matthew's Catholic Church Cemetery in Campbellsport.

Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of Mass.
