Dean H. Gahlman, 73

    Dean H. Gahlman, 73, of Hartford, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
    Dean was born Dec. 5, 1935, in Juneau, to John and Margaret (nee Scholtes) Gahlman.
    Dean liked bowling, playing sheepshead and getting together with his co-workers and friends. He was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church.
    Dean is survived by his children, Marti (Gail) of Genesee, Marc of West Bend, D’ann Schultz of West Bend, Philip of Oxford, Lynn (John) Brodzeller of Slinger, Peter of Wisconsin Dells, Michael of West Bend and Nathan Gahlman of Wisconsin Dells; three grandchildren, Terra, Joshua and Timothy; his brothers and sisters, Mary Joan (Milton) Fuiten of Green Bay, Gerald (Patricia) Gahlman, Carol (James) Nyswonger both of Hartford and Carl "Butch" Gahlman of Racine.
    He is preceded in death by his parents; his son-in-law, Dale Schultz; his sister-inlaw, Mary Gahlman; and his niece, Therese Nelsen.
    He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Mass of Christian burial for Dean will be Saturday, Nov. 21 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State St., Hartford, with the Rev. Rick Stoffel officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass at the church. Interment at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Rubicon.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Kilian or the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
