Wyleene "Wy" Moser

Wyleene "Wy" Moser (nee Hall), 84, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at her residence.

Wy was born on Sept. 29, 1925, to Alfred and Molly (nee Jones) in Millen, Ga., and was raised in Augusta, Ga. She taught herself to play the guitar and sang on the radio as a teenager, then was crowned Miss Daniel Field in 1943. Wy was an accomplished dancer and met Ray when he asked her to dance the "Blue Tango." They were married on June 26, 1954, and they have been dancing ever since.

Wy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ray, and sisters, Marguerite and Willa Dean. She is further survived by her special nephew, Gene (Marlene) Weed; special niece, Pat Cooper; many special friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Norman, John "JT" and Willis "Doc," who was killed in the Battle of the Bulge; sisters, Mary Lou, Bernice, Pauline and Mattie May.
