Elmer A. ‘Emy’ Kison, 81
 

Elmer A. "Emy" Kison, of Cedarburg, went home to heaven on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at the age of 81.

He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Joyce (nee Ladwig);

cherished dad of Cheryl (Kenneth) Miller, Bonnie (Gary) Johnson, and Jo’Ann (Donald) Libecap; proud grandpa of Shawn (Holly) Miller, Erin (friend Daniel Schumann), and Johanna (Joseph) Kujawski; loving great-grandpa of Lily Miller and Evelynn Kujawski; and brother-in-law of Viola Kison, Lorain Kison, Elmer (Margaret) Ladwig, and Christine Wittenberg. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Emy was preceded in death by an infant son, Dale Kison, and brothers, Arnold, Herbert, Roland, and Albert Kison.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at 5 p.m. at

First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg.

Interment was at Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday, at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials to the First Immanuel Guardian Angels Program are appreciated.

Emy was a lifelong resident of Cedarburg, a local carpenter, home- builder, and for 20 years was the owner with his wife, Joyce, of Gingerbread Carpentry.
