Jean Marie Niemuth (nee Heinrich)

Jean Marie Niemuth (nee Heinrich), 46, of the town of Trenton passed away at her residence after a courageous five-year battle with cancer, on Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, with her family at her side.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1962, to John and Clare (nee Marx) in Milwaukee. She was raised in West Bend and graduated from West Bend East High School, class of 1981. Jean married Tim Niemuth on June 27, 1987, at Holy Angels Catholic Church. She was attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in 1988. Jean worked for Cedar Lake Campus during high school and after college as a registered dietician. She loved Christmas, shopping, making jewelry, cooking, spending time in her backyard with her flowers and especially taking care of her family. Member of the American Dietary Assoc., den leader for the Cub Scouts and a volunteer for the Girl Scouts.

Jean is survived by her husband, Timothy; children, Kristen and Maxwell. She is further survived by her sisters, Jill (Michael) Knier and Kathy (Michael) Polega, both of Colgate; brother, Daniel (Lisa) Heinrich of Menomonie; inlaws, Charles and Marita Niemuth of West Bend; brothers-in-law, Scott (Debbie) Niemuth of Savage, Minn., Christopher (Donna) Niemuth of Berlin and Russell (Bonnie) Niemuth of Kewaskum; sisterin-law, Jacqueline (Michael) Vorpahl of Slinger; pets, Sadie, Ivan and Terry; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Barton with the Rev. Michael Moran officiating. Visitation will be at the church only on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 4 p.m. until time of Mass at 7 p.m. Interment of ashes will take place at New St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for Kristen and Maxwell’s education.
