Norma Rose Dallmann, 83

Norma Rose Dallmann (nee Keller) was born into eternal life on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009 at 11:58 a.m. with her daughter and son-in-law at her side.

Norma was born in Brookfield on June 2, 1926, the youngest of eight children to Reinhardt and Bertha (nee Voit) Keller. She was united in marriage in 1952 to Erwin Wilhelm Dallmann who preceded her in death on Aug.6, 1998.

After her marriage to Er-win, she lived on the Dall-mann Homestead in Jackson, WI until she built her new home on the north side of the homestead property in Dall-mann Village, after her husband died. Erwin's father, August, homesteaded the farm property in 1856.

Norma loved animals, especially her dogs, cats and horses. She was a musician and she loved her music. She and her husband collected anti-ques before it became a trend. She was an excellent card player. More than anything she loved her family, friends and LIFE. Her famous statement was "Nothing beats fun, except more fun!"

Norma and Erwin are survived by their only child, Gail B. Dallmann-Swenson and Gail's husband Duane A. Swenson. Norma is further survived by her brother Lester (Helen) Keller, her sister Bernice Patzen, wife of the late Jack Lutz, her two sisters-in-law Irene Keller, wife of the late Norbert and Angeline Keller, wife of the late Ralph and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Erwin Dallmann, her parents Reinhardt and Bertha Keller and the following brothers and sisters: Elmer (Lillian) Keller, Norbert Keller, Ralph Keller, Millie (Ted) Fleisner and Florence (Ed) Wing.

A service celebrating Norma's life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church W204 N11968 Goldendale Road, German-town with Father Todd Budde presiding. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, N168W20135 Main St., Jackson, with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. and also Friday, at the church only from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

After the interment, a luncheon will be served at the Lone Star Tavern.
