Henry J. "Heinie" Klink

Henry J. "Heinie" Klink, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 20, 2009.

He was born Aug. 9, 1927, in Hartford, the son of Henry D. and Frances (nee Christ) Klink. Henry was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul Society, National Guard Reserves and the Cursillo Movement. He worked at Dietzlers Bottling Company from 1947 to 1966 and for the City of Hartford Street Department from 1967 to 1990, when he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Marge (nee Meyer) Klink; his children, Henry Klink, Carolyn (Scott) Fischer, Greg (Kathy) Klink, Jim (Karen) Klink, Connie Roethle, Monica (Lee) Bleuel, Phil (Melissa) Klink and Tom (Linda) Klink; his grandchildren, Amanda (Nick) Flood, Noah (Melissa) Fischer, Zach Fischer, Aubrey and Hayden Klink, Marcus, Leah and Shannon Klink, Ashley and Nathan Roethle, Jesse, Breonna, Heather and Angela Bleuel, Drew, Megan and Nick Klink, Cody, Cale and Collin Klink; and his sisters, Margaret Ann Nelson and Imelda (Charles) Algiers.

Henry is preceded in death by his siblings, Sr. Delores Klink, Frances Frank, Lorraine Stippick, Harold Klink, Collete Daubner, Gerald Klink and Baby Andy Klink.

Visitation Thursday, Sept. 24, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 West State St., Hartford. Mass of Christian burial will follow at the Church at 6 p.m. Interment Friday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be preferred to future school scholarships, St. Vincent De Paul Society, Alzheimerís Association or St. Kilianís Endowment Fund.
