Geraldine A. "Gerri" Brace

Geraldine A. "Gerri" Brace, 80, of West Bend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.

She was born on April 5, 1929, in West Allis, the daughter of the late John and Frances (nee Catalano) Accetta. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmo Prusik and Wilbur Brace.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.

Those Geraldine leaves behind to cherish her memories include three daughters, Kathleen (Tim) Connors of Skandia, Mich., Jean (David) Garbisch of Random Lake and Nancy (Steve) Ramsey of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Prusik of Allenton; nine grandchildren, Tim (Jennifer) Connors, Jennifer (Glenn) Connors-Merrill, Dana, Eric and Kayla Garbisch, Aidan and Helen Ramsey, Brian and Josh Paul; a brother, Marvin (Kathleen) Accetta of Hales Corners; a sister-in-law, Ruth Accetta of Milwaukee; three great-grandchildren, Claudia, Matthew and Calissa Connors; stepchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by a son, Alan Joseph Prusik, and a brother, Frank Accetta.

A memorial Mass for Geraldine will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum with the Rev. Edwin Kornath officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial of her cremains will follow the Mass in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of Mass.
