Ronald ‘Ron’ Gene Hendrix, 79

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, W63 N527 Hanover Ave., Cedarburg, for Ronald “Ron” Gene Hendrix, 79, of Grafton, who died on April 8, 2010. Visitation was at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Ron was born on Oct. 17, 1930, in Polo, Ill., to William and June (nee Trump) Hendrix.

Ron was an engineer at Doerr Electric, retiring from his position as an engineer after 25 years. He also worked at Leeson Electric for two years.
Ron enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing and hunting. He liked watching sports on TV. Ron also liked old cars.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy (nee Lawson) of Grafton; children, Rodney (Barbara) of Cedarburg and William (Donna Rae) of Jackson; grandchildren, Janet (Jesse) Kraemer of Kewaskum and Mark of Cedarburg; great-grandchildren, Keturah, Miriam and Michaiah Kraemer of Kewaskum; in-laws, Harold (the late Pat) Lawson of Pearl City, Ill., Donald (Pat) Lawson of Freeport, Ill., Dick (Arlene) Lawson of Freeport, Ill., David Lawson of Rockford, Ill.; Dianne (Charles) Rhodenbaugh of Dixon, Ill., and William Lawson of Freeport, Ill.; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by parents and his son, Randall.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.
