Verona M. Muehleisen, 94


Verona M. Muehleisen (nee Jaeger) of Random Lake, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2010, at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee at the age of 94.

Verona was born in Cedarburg on April 11, 1916, to Erwin and Emma (Krueger) Jaeger and married William “Mickey” Muehleisen on June 26, 1937, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.

Verona was a lifelong resident of Cedarburg, lifelong active member at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, and also worked at the Cedarburg Woolen Mill when it was in operation.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Daniel) Weiss of Grafton; grandchildren, Janet (Jeff) Poeschl of Portland, Ore., and Jessica (Henry) Brodersen of Mason, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Jaeger and Kort Brodersen of Mason, Ariz.; sisters, Audrey Erdmann of Cedarburg and Marion Hadler of Roseville, Minn.  She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Verona was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Oliver, and one sister, Virginia Glasser.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26, at 12:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W61 N498 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. Interment will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
