Hilda M. Govin (nee Snitker), 90, passed away Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010.

Hilda was born on July 12, 1920, to William H. and Martha (nee Grotegut) Snitker. She married Albert E. Govin Jr. on Jan. 28, 1942, in Milwaukee, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1963. Hilda worked at Briggs and Stratton for 12 years and retired from Regal Ware after over 25 years of dedicated service.

Hilda is survived by her children, Albert Robert Govin of Fr. Meyers, Fla., and Sandra Lee (Roger) Cross of West Bend; grandchildren, Terri (Scott) Wolf, Cheryl Simonton, Linda Govin, Greg Govin, Tammy (Mark) Allar and Tony (Wendy) Cross. She is further survived by great-grandchildren, Alishia (Matthew) Ascher, Vanessa and Spencer Allar, Kelsey, Kendra, and Cassandra Cross, Kevin, Ryan and Perry Wolf, and Ashley, Lauren, Mia and Andrea Simonton; other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents and sisters, Stella, Lillian and Ruth.
 
A funeral service for Hilda will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at Calvary Assembly of God, 1110 E. Decorah Road, West Bend with the Rev. John Garcia presiding. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service at the church only. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Holy Rosary Cemetery in Little Kohler.
