Kathleen M. "Babe" Dickmann (nee Degner), 73, of Boltonville, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by family after a short but courageous battle with leukemia on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010.

Babe was born on April 25, 1937, to Ervin and Dorothy (nee Thill) Degner in Boltonville. She married Elroy Dickmann on April 4, 1958, in Joliet, Ill., and he preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1971.

Babe is survived by her daughter, Robin; grandson, Scott; two sisters, June Krempasky and Audrey Walsh; many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Mary Jacklin; niece, Tamar Lee Walsh; and three brothers in-law.

A funeral service for Babe will be at noon on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home only. Interment will take place at Boltonville Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
