Margaret Schmidt, 93

Margaret Schmidt, 93, of the town of Trenton passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at River Way Place.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1916, in the town of Granville to Michael and Marie (nee Faulstech) Herauf. After marrying Harvey G. Schmidt on April 3, 1937, in Milwaukee, the couple farmed in the town of Granville until 1951 when they moved to the town of Trenton.

Margaret is survived by her three sons, James A. (Joyce) of Trenton, Raymond H. (Barbara) of Juneau and Gerald M. Schmidt of Trenton. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Julie (Tom) Woltring, Jackie (Dave) Loescher, Jon (Lynn) Schmidt, Daniel and Peter Schmidt; seven great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Thad and Bridget Woltring, Maxwell and Maddie Loescher, Luke and Andrew Schmidt; sister-in-law, Eleanor Kirchhoff; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Herman, Fred and Alfred Herauf; sister-in-law, Ruth Wischer; brothers-in-law, Vern Wischer and Warren Kirchhoff.

Funeral services for Margaret will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel in West Bend with the Rev. Joseph Fisher presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home only on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials to Kathy Hospice are appreciated.
