Steven J. Faude, 46, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Slinger on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010.

He was born on May 10, 1964, in Ashland to Ruth Faude.

His love for the outdoors included being a sports fan, particularly for the Green Bay Packers. He also was a little league coach for many years.

Steve and Cindy Rosenberg, his life partner in love, shared their home together in Slinger.

Survivors include four children, Heather, Stephanie, Matthew and Joshua, all of Jackson; his mother, Ruth (Erv Herdt) Schult of Merrill; two halfbrothers, Shawn Schult of Merrill and Stacey Schult (fianceé, Sondra Robertson) of Green Bay; a step-sister, Tami (Scott) Roemich of Racine; a step-brother, Scott Schult; the mother of his children, Jeanne Faude of Jackson; his best friends, Cindy and Carl Marquardt; special friends, Adam Rosenberg of West Bend and Kevin Rosenberg and Richard Andryczak, both of Grafton; aunts, uncles cousins, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, LaVern Schult.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 22, at 6 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Richard Stoffel officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
