Alice S. Fromm, 91
 

A funeral service will be held today, Aug. 26, 2010, at 6 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, for Alice S. Fromm (nee Scherer), 91, of Cedarburg, who passed away peacefully on Aug. 22, 2010. Visitation will be at the church today from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Alice was born Oct. 2, 1918, the daughter of Edward and Otillie (nee Kemp) Scherer. Alice was united in marriage to Alexander Fromm at Calvary Lutheran Church, Thiensville, May 1, 1937.

Alice worked for 23 years at Sprauge, retiring at age 65. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Alice lived in Grafton until four years ago when she moved to Lasata Care Center.

Alice is survived by her children, Allen Fromm of Milwaukee, Audrey (the late Jim "Monk") Molitor of Port Washington and Alvin "Butch" (Marilyn) Fromm of Grafton; grandchildren, Arthur Fromm of Green Bay, Mary Beth (Giaus) Nelson of Minnesota, Denise (Mike) Husting of Saukville, Andy (Lisa) Jacque of Madison, John (fiancÚ Nicole Foye) Molitor of Boston, Julie Molitor of Port Washington, Douglas (fiancÚ Courtney Hayden) Fromm of West Bend, Leanne Fromm of Grafton and Brian Fromm of Grafton; sister, Viola (the late Paul) Sachse of Thiensville; and sisters-in-law, Juliett Scherer of West Bend and Mary Scherer of Waukesha. She is further survived by former daughter-in-law, Barb Bransky of New Mexico, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alexander; her parents; son, Arthur Fromm; daughter, Alice Faye Jacque; infant granddaughter, Dawn Marie Molitor; sisters, Stella (Manford) Sperber, Pearl (Walter) Lindert, Rose (Kenneth) Keuhl, Ida (Albert) Buntrock and Norma (Arnold) Mueller; and brothers, Leroy Scherer and Edwin Scherer.
