June C. Mueller (nee Pietschmann), 87, of Fredonia, passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, at the home of her son, Keith, in Beechwood.

She was born on June 3 1923, to the late Albert and Eleonora (nee Groeschel) Pietschmann Sr., and was united in marriage to Donald Mueller on May 16, 1942, in West Bend. Donald preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1983. June worked for Amity as a sewer for several years until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Keith (Brenda) Mueller of Beechwood; son-in-law, David Reader of Fillmore; seven grandchildren, Chris Meyer, Kathy (Nic) Roach, Mary (Joe) Rudis, Cindy (Ron) Trepes, Josh Mueller, Tiffany Mueller and Brittany Mueller; 10 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Jim) Brink of Missouri; sister-in-law, Florence Pietschmann of West Bend; other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Dona Rae Reader; four sisters and their spouses, Alice (Raymond) Eichmann, Ethel (Carlos) Crass, Dorothy (Milton) Schuster, and Helen (Henry) Karth; brother-inlaw, Luke Mueller; and sister-in-law, Leona Ranthum.

A funeral service in remembrance of June was held on Monday, Aug. 30, at 4 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Kohler with the Rev. Richard Fleischman presiding. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery. Visitation was at the church on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
