Brendan Anthony Dobson, 7

Brendan Anthony Dobson, 7, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.

Brendan was born on Sept. 1, 2003, in West Bend to Anthony and Michele (nee Webb). He loved sports! He played basketball, baseball, football, soccer and watched stock car racing with his grandpa. He loved to spend quality time with his mom, especially baking and snuggling. He loved going to both his dadís and grandpaís softball games. Brendan was right on the bench with the guys when he helped his dad coach the Slinger Owls basketball team. His dream was to one day become a Slinger Owl himself.

In addition, Brendan enjoyed going Up North and spending time with both of his grandpas at their respective cabins. He was the best big brother to Jackson and just a well-rounded young man. Brendan will be dearly missed by his many friends.

Brendan is survived by his parents; little brother, Jackson Andrew; paternal grandparents, Robert and Candace Dobson; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Barbara Webb; great-grandma, Alpha E. Dobson; and great-grandpa, William B. Starkey. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles, Rob (Megan) Dobson, Jonathan (Michelle) Webb, Jocelyn (Damon) Sims and Nicholas (Carrie) Webb; and his cousins, Joshua Dobson, Tyler, Cayden and Bryson Webb, Maximus and Manny Sims, and Myles and Hope Webb; and many other relatives and friends.

Brendan is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Robert E. Dobson Sr., Joseph and Fern Capizzi, Catherine Starkey, Ruby Webb and James R. Webb.

A Mass of Christian burial for Brendan will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, at St. Peterís Catholic Church, 200 E. Washington St. in Slinger with the Rev. Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be at the church only on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Private interment New St. Peterís Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Brendanís name at Westbury Bank, (200 S. Main St., P.O. Box 437, West Bend, WI 53095).

The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.
