Audrey A. Watzlawick, 85, of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in the town of West Bend.

She was born on Feb. 1, 1925, in West Bend, to the late Clarence and Leona (nee Dickmann) Wilkens. Audrey was united in marriage to Paul Watzlawick on June 2, 1945, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend. Paul preceded Audrey in death on Aug. 9, 2008.

Audrey was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend. She loved watching Badger and Packer games on the weekends and enjoyed many trips to Hawaii with her husband. Audrey’s happiest moments in life came from her family and friends whenever they would come for visits.

Audrey is survived by her three sons, Terry (Gloriann) Watzlawick of Shawano, Steve (Karen) Watzlawick of Irma and Jeff (Debbie) Watzlawick of West Bend; five grandchildren, Jay (Roxanne) Watzlawick, Amy (Scott) Fideler, Kristy (James) Hensley, Stacey Watzlawick and Paul (Abby) Watzlawick; and six great-grandchildren, Chyanne, Hunter and Tyler Watzlawick and Owen, Ethan and Ava Fideler.

A funeral service in honor of Audrey will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. The Rev. Jeff Dorth will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park on Friday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m.
