Ervin T. Gorecki, 74
Ervin
T. Gorecki, 74, of West Bend, died on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at Community
Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.
He was born on July 28, 1936 in Milwaukee to Ervin and Irene Gorecki, Sr.
Ervin graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1955. He worked
at the Pabst Brewery before starting his own business, Scope
Investigations. He went on to manage the Johnson School Bus Kewaskum
Terminal for 35 years, retiring in 1998. Ervin loved airplanes and playing
golf.
He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Larsen; two sisters, Sandra Holeman
of Thousand Oaks, Calif. and Patricia Gorecki of Milwaukee; one brother,
Gordon (Rosalie) Gorecki of West Bend; three cousins, Mike (Dotty) Glish
of New Berlin, Norman (Rosie) Glish of Germantown, and Gary Glish of New
Berlin; four nieces, Marlene (Gary) Kell of West Bend, Barbara (Scott)
Rank of West Bend, Kelly (Robert) Salinas of West Bend, and Kim Holeman of
Thousand Oaks, Calif.; one nephew, Ronald Holeman of Thousand Oaks,
Calif.; other relatives and close friends.
Ervin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Gorecki.
A memorial visitation in remembrance of Ervin will be held from 10 a.m.
until noon on Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315
W. Washington St., West Bend. A reception will follow at West Bend Lakes.
