Dolores K. Mayer (nee Karrels) of Jackson, formerly of Fredonia was born to life on Oct. 29, 1921; and born to eternal life on Dec. 15, 2010 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer and her son, Gene. Dear mother of Francis "Frank" (Dolores) Mayer, Therese "Teri" (Greg) Kirst, Ray (Carol) Mayer and Marion (Gary) Wendorff. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dolores was an avid gardener and delighted many people with flowers on Main Street in Jackson. Special thanks to Dr. Andrew Pahl and the staff of The Kathy Hospice for their compassionate care of our mother.

Funeral Mass will be at noon on Saturday, Dec. 18 at St. Francis Borgia Church-North, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd., Cedarburg. Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Saturday at the church.

Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Kathy Hospice in West Bend would be appreciated.
