Gertrude L. Novak (nee Gerbing), 92, died on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010. Gertrude was born on July 18, 1918 to William and Lydia (nee Hencke) Gerbing. She married William Novak on Dec. 20, 1941.

Gertrude is survived by her son Steve (Shirley) Novak; grandchildren Lisa (Brian) Ehlers, Lynn (Keith) Collins, Stephen (Lyrian) Novak, Seth Novak, and Todd Novak; and greatgrandsons Brandon Ehlers, and Caleb and Luke Collins. She is preceded in death by her husband William, daughter Sharon Novak, parents, and great-granddaughter Sara Ehlers.

A memorial service for Gertrude will be at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6823 Hwy. B in West Bend. Gathering will be from 12:30 until the time of the service. Interment of ashes at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
