Thomas A. ‘Tim’ Weinert, 92 Thomas A. "Tom" Weinert, 92, of the town of Polk, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at Samaritan Health Care Center. Tom was born on March 16, 1918, to Charles and Elizabeth (nee Fehring) Weinert in the town of Polk. At age 15, he worked the family farm. He married Lorraine V. (nee Fisher) in Chicago. The couple lived in Cedar Creek in the town of Polk. He was employed as a job superintendant for C.G. Schmidt Inc. General Contractors for over 40 years, retiring at the age of 65. Tom enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, traveling and gardening. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Slinger, Carpenter’s Union of Pewaukee and the Catholic Knights of Slinger. Tom is survived by his wife, Lorraine; daughters, Nancy (James) Nass of West Bend and Mary Emmer (Barney Kaminsky) of Cedarburg. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Nicole Nass (special friend, Jason Buboltz) of Milwaukee and Jason Emmer of the Netherlands; brother-in-law on Lorraine’s side, Len (Mary) Fisher of Lady Lake, Fla.; niece, Marina Williamson of Lady Lake, Fla.; and cousin, Helen Mueller of West Bend; other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerome and Joseph; and sister, Natalie Damen. A memorial Mass will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Slinger with the Rev. Jerry Repenshek presiding. Interment of ashes will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Slinger. Visitation will be at the church only on Tuesday, Dec. 28, from 3 p.m. until time of Mass.
