Beverly J. Kannenberg
Beverly J. Kannenberg, 68, of Jackson, died
peacefully at Kathy’s Hospice on Jan. 31, 2010.
Beverly was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 21, 1942,
the daughter of the late Norman and Lydia (nee Hilgendorf) Schulz. Beverly
was united in marriage on Oct. 7, 1961, to Eugene H. Kannenberg. They were
blessed with two sons. Beverly was a bank teller for M&I Bank in
Jackson for 20 years and then worked for a total of 28 years with the town
of Jackson she was a secretary and became Town Clerk. She was an excellent
cook and loved to bake. Beverly enjoyed shopping, but her favorite time
was spent spoiling her grandchildren. Everyone always saw a smile on
Beverly’s face because she was always happy.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Eugene;
children, Michael and Marc (Lisa) Kannenberg; grandchildren, Justin, Owen,
Gavin and Grace; a sister, Virginia (the late John) Boehlke; sistersin-law,
Victoria (the Rev. Eugene) Ahlswede, Arlene (Fred) Boehlke and Lois (Earl)
Zastrow. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. Beverly is preceded in death by her brother, Harold Schulz.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 3,
2010, at 7 p.m. at David’s Star Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2740 David’s
Star Road, Jackson. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday
from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held at the
church cemetery. Memorials to the David’s Star Building Fund or the
charity of your choice appreciated.
