Kathleen Marie Greene, 55, of Mayville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at her home.

Kathleen was born the daughter of Stephen and Charlotte (nee Langenhorst) Stortz on Jan. 17, 1955, in Fond du Lac. She was married to Thomas A. Greene on May 13, 1978, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville. Kathleen was a 1973 graduate of Mayville High School. She was employed as a CNA at Cedar Lake Campus, West Bend. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville. Kathleen enjoyed camping, gardening and flowers. But the most important part of Kathleen’s life was her family.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Tom of Mayville; her children, Spc. Anthony (Crystal) Greene of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Daniel (Melinda) Greene of Mayville; her parents, Steve and Char Stortz of Mayville; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Rosemary Greene of Eau Claire; sisters and brothers, Mike (Dawn) Stortz of Horicon, Dan (special friend, Sue Wilderman) Stortz of Mayville, Patty (Mark) Wild of Mayville, Connie (Todd) Zimmel of Mayville; sister-inlaw, Debbie Stortz of Brownsville; three grandchildren, Gabby, Luke and Aiden; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve John Stortz; her grandparents; and one niece, Danielle.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville, with the Rev. Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 4, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Mayville.
