George Harland Ottosen Sr.
George Harland Ottosen Sr., 89, of Richfield, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010.
He was born on Nov. 5, 1920, in Medford, to Torvald A. and Mary E. (Kalmon) Ottosen.
On Nov. 12, 1945, he married Dorothy M. Lowrey in Houston, Texas. George served as a Merchant Marine during World War II.
Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Marion (John) Grasse, Mequon; daughters, Mrs. Karen Feagin, Fond du Lac, Mrs. Mary (Wayne) Erickson, Fond du Lac and Mrs. Christine Kincaid, Seattle; daughter in-law, Mrs. Mary Ellen (George Jr.) Ottosen, Delavan; sons, Mr. Charles A. (Vicki) Ottosen, Oregon, Mr. Michael (Gay Nichole) Ottosen, Long Lake, Stephen (Dolly) Ottosen, Menomonee Falls, and Mr. Patrick Ottosen, Hartford.
George is further survived by 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and many loving family members and friends.
George was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy M. (Lowrey) Ottosen; sons George H. Ottosen Jr., Robert J. Ottosen (infant) and Joseph J. Ottosen (infant), and daughter Linda Susan Ottosen.
The family extends their appreciation to the staff of Cedar Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cedarburg.
