Candace D. ĎCandií Struck,
Candace D. "Candi" Struck passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at the age of 40.
Candi was the loving daughter of Dennis Struck and Sandra Kiesow. She was born on Sept. 3, 1969, in Cudahy. Candi graduated from high school in Cedarburg and then attended college at Concordia University Wisconsin. She moved to Arizona in 2004, to be closer to her family.
Candi enjoyed horror movies, bowling, tennis, board games and riding bikes. However, her true love was spending time with her many nieces and nephews: Tony, Andrea, Jake, Jaxon, Kallie, Ethan, Emory and Evan.
Candi epitomized the saying: "A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove Ö but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child." Candiís nephew, Jake, made the following statements: "I remember how Auntie Candi always didnít have much money, but she would always take me for pizza," "She never yelled at me and was always nice to me."
Candi was preceded in death by her step-father, Arthur Kiesow.
She is survived by her parents, Dennis Struck and Sandra Kiesow; sisters, Michele (Mark Tyler) Struck and Dawn (Russ) Haynes; brothers, James Kiesow and Dennis (Candis) Struck; and eight nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by her many relatives and friends, both in Arizona and Wisconsin.
The family will receive friends today, Feb. 9, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
and a celebration of Candiís life will follow at 5 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, Ariz.
We love you very much and will miss you, but we will meet again.
