Patrick ‘Pat’ J. Kirschbaum, 83

Private services will be held for Patrick “Pat” J. Kirschbaum Sr. who died Feb. 13, 2010, at the age of 83 at Columbia St. Mary Ozaukee Campus. Inurnment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.

Pat was born in Milwaukee on March 17, 1926, the son of Joseph and Barbara (nee Neubauer) Kirschbaum. Pat joined the U.S. Navy at a very young age during World War II. He served on the USS Oakland and USS New Jersey. He received the Bronze Star and a Victory Medal. He was a very proud veteran. He was active in the Peter Wollner American Legion Post 288.
Pat was a dedicated and hard worker. He retired from two companies, St. Regis Paper Factory and Miller Brewery. Pat was a “fighter in personal endeavors.” He truly enjoyed shopping with his grandchildren and fishing.
Patrick is survived by his children, Patrick Jr. (Suzie), Kimberly (Tom) and Kristine (Uwe). He is further survived by four grandchildren and friends.
