Gary J. Lewein, 47
Gary J. Lewein, 47, of West Bend, died on
Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010.
He was born on May 21, 1962, the son of Robert and Janice (James) Lewein.
He was a graduate of Ozaukee High
School, class of 1980. He later graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical
College with an associate degree in electromechanical technology.
He owned and operated several businesses in the greater Milwaukee area
including Gary’s Window Dressing.
Gary had a passion for music and was an accomplished musician. He traveled
the country with his bands as a young man.
He had a love of nature. He enjoyed hiking, biking and was a disc golf
enthusiast.
He was a cherished uncle. His nephews always enjoyed his fanciful gifts
and playful nature.
Gary was a friend to many and was loved by all who knew him.
He will be sorely missed.
Survivors include his father, Robert of Waterloo;
one brother, Scott (Donna) of Madison; one sister, Terri Klas of Waterloo;
four nephews, Pierce Klas, Aaron Klas, Ian Klas, Alex (Laura) Lewein; his
former wife, Cindy; and many friends that loved and supported him
throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Lewein, and his
grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at
the United Methodist Church in Lake Mills with the Rev. William R. McBride
officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church until
the time of services.
The Claussen Funeral Home of Lake Mills is assisting the family.
