Florence Paegelow, 98

Florence Paegelow (nee Hall) of Lasata Care Center, formerly of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Friday Feb. 19, 2010, at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee at the age of 98.

Florence was born in Freistadt on Oct. 30, 1911, to Herman and Adela (nee Riemer) Hall and married Elmer Paegelow on June 14, 1947, at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

Florence was raised in Cedarburg and graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1930. She was a member of the Grafton Senior Center and also was an active member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, West Mequon, for over 40 years.

She is survived by her son, Elmer “Butch” (Nola) Paegelow of Grafton; grandchildren, Marie (Jay) Dunham of Grayville, Ill., Stephan Paegelow of Racine, Nicole (John) Jozwowski of Saukville, Stacy (Jerry) Suber of West Bend and Tim Paegelow of Grafton; great grandchildren, Katie, Erin and Amanda Jozwowski, and Emily and Allison Suber. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Douglas (the late Ruth) Paegelow; brothers, Fred (Elsie) Hall, Elmer (Lorraine) Hall and Edward Hall, and one sister, Norma Hall.

Funeral services will be held today Feb. 23, at 6 p.m.. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, West Mequon, 11450 N. Wauwatosa Road, Mequon.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
