Almyra E. Dean, 96
Almyra E. Dean, (nee Timm), 96, West Bend, passed
away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Clearview Home in Delafield.
She was born on March 26, 1913, in Milwaukee to
the late Fred and Elsie (nee Krueger) Timm. On Nov. 30, 1933, Myra was
united in marriage to Harry Dean in Milwaukee. Harry preceded her in death
on May 2, 1995.
Myra worked as a sales clerk at the Woolworth
Store in Milwaukee. Shortly after their marriage they moved to West Bend.
She worked for Amity as a leather paster and then at Sentry Foods in the
meat department.
Myra was a member of the Christian Science Society
in West Bend, Mother Church, Gold Star Mothers and Ladies Auxiliary of the
VFW Fred A. Schaefer Post #1398.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law Rosemary Timm of Milwaukee and Rosemary Timm of Greenfield; many nieces and
nephews; other relatives and dear friends.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband, Harry; her two sons, Harry Jr. and Glenn; four sisters, Irma
(Rudy) Toman, Bernice (Henry) Greve, Viola Timm, Elsie (Harvey) Schulz;
three brothers, Frederick Timm, Ervin Timm and Clarence Timm; and one
brother-in-law, William (Helen) Dean.
Funeral services in remembrance of Myra will be
held on Sunday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315
W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on
Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the services. Burial will take place
Monday, Jan. 18, at 11:30 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Myra's name to Clearview Home Corp., 935 Main Street Delafield, WI 53018, are appreciated
by the family.
