Harry H. Kissinger


Harry H. Kissinger, 72, of West Bend and Slinger, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at St. Lukeís Medical Center in Milwaukee.

He was born on June 8, 1937, in West Bend to the late Harry Peter and Mary (nee Schleining) Kissinger. Harry attended West Bend High School and graduated in the class of 1955. He went on to attend Lakeland College.

On April 30, 1960, Harry was united in marriage to Florence Justman at St. Johnís Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend. Harry served his country as a member of the Wisconsin National Guard for many years. He worked for Amity Leather Products Company for 35 years in the IT Department as a Data Processor until he retired in 1996.

Harry was a member of St. Johnís Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed new and evolving technology, as well as fishing, bowling, camping, traveling and photography.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; their two children, Scott (Amy) Kissinger of Sheboygan and Sue (Dan) Weber of New Berlin; five grandchildren, Andrew, Evan and Eric Kissinger, Steve and Mike Weber; two brothersin-law, Harold (Cathy) Justman and Howard (Millie) Justman both of West Bend; other relatives and many friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; and parents-in-law, Russell and Minnie Justman.

A memorial service in remembrance of Harry will be held on Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at 4:30 p.m. at St. Johnís Evangelical Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Ave., West Bend with the Rev. Jeff Dorth officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials to St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church or St. Lukeís Medical Centerís Thoracic Transplant Program are appreciated by the family.
