Walter Paul Sr.
Allen Walter Paul Sr. was born to eternal life on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at age 79.
He was born in Egg Harbor, Wis. to Rudolph Sr. and Anna (nee Annoye) Paul.
He will be dearly missed by Rose, his loving wife of 54 years, and his family.
He was the loving father of Al Jr. (Laurie), Perry, Mary (Tom) Stodola, Mickey, Tom (Diana) and Joan; proud grandpa of Kim, Kayla, Phil, Cassidy, AJ, Rachel, Laura, Joe and Grace; and great-grandpa to Aubriella.
He was brother to Alice, Janice, Bob, Les and the late Rudolph Jr, and Don.
He was preceded in death by brothers Rudolph Jr. and Don.
The fairytale started for Al and Rose when they met at the Cinderella Ballroom in Appleton, Wis., where Al taught Rose the Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha and many others.
Wherever they danced, they were the talk of the town.
He honorably served as a Corporal in the United States Army and was an exceptionally skilled carpenter for over 60 years. He taught the trade to his sons, grandsons and many others, who were honored to work alongside him.
He enjoyed family, carpentry, dancing with Rose and a good steak.
